Description
A colour pastel portrait of a woman looking towards a planet, the darkness of outer space in the background.
I decided to get my pastels out and started playing around with colours on a large piece of black card.
Not one of my most detailed works, I started this piece early one Sunday afternoon and finished it by that evening.
The original size of the drawing is about 60 cm x 32 cm (23 1/2 inch x 12 1/2 inch).

The reference for the girl was roughly based on a stock photo by insomnia-stock - fav.me/d5hx122 (it seems like their account is deactivated now so I can't link you to the girl reference anymore).

Not one of my most detailed works, I started this piece early one Sunday afternoon and finished it by that evening.
My Stepfather was really taken with this drawing, he loved it so much that he had it specially framed and mounted it above the fireplace in his lounge. It's still there till this day and it's nice to know that I can see it whenever I'm able to visit.
